On Wednesday, May 24, twenty-seven students visited Southport Beach to collect data for Sacred Heart University's Project Limulus study. Students captured more than 20 mating pairs of horseshoe crabs. They determined the gender and condition of the horseshoe crabs which were then measured, tagged, and released.  Thank you to Professor Jo-Marie Kasinak, her undergraduate and graduate student assistants, and to all who participated in the data collection.
