Notre Dame Prep has partnered with Manhood Redeemed to offer a mentorship program for young men of color. Founded by Notre Dame Prep Board of Visitor member, Pejay Lucky ‘03, Manhood Redeemed is dedicated to developing young men of color through mentorship, conversation, and personal growth. Centered around the pillars of faith, identity, and discipline, the group creates an environment where students can reflect on who they are, who they want to become, and how they can take intentional steps toward their goals. Through engaging discussions, real-life application, and community, the group encourages accountability, leadership, and purpose.
“It’s been going incredibly well,” Pejay said. “We have a group of amazing young men with bright futures who are truly committing to enhancing themselves and giving back to their community.”
This work is supported by Pejay, along with three committed volunteers, Joe Wilson, Calvin Sellers, and Jordan Smith. Together, they are dedicated to supporting the next generation and helping these young men of color navigate the complexities of life with clarity, confidence, and character.
“Their growth, honesty, and willingness to show up for one another is powerful, and it’s clear they are building a foundation that will impact not only their own lives, but the lives of those around them.”
