Marketing Coordinator
This position reinforces the mission and goals of Notre Dame High School by creating and implementing a marketing plan to support all school programs. This role works in a highly
collaborative manner covering all aspects of marketing and communications including strategy, brand management, and publication production. This post is focused primarily on external communications as well as stakeholder engagement. As a member of a small team, the coordinator is expected to work in a highly collaborative manner with a diverse background of individuals. This position reports to the Development Director.

Major Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures consistency and continuity in marketing and communications
- Develops and implements strategies to increase Notre Dame’s brand awareness and strengthen its reputation in our market sector
- Creates copy, photography, graphics, video and creative content to promote school programs with particular emphasis on advancing the goals of the Admissions and Advancement departments
- Manages the school’s social media presence
- Creates copy and designs content for the school’s major publications including print and digital newsletters
- Writes press releases and speeches
- Manages the school website and works to maximize search engine optimization
- Collaborates with faculty, coaches, administration and staff to share the ND story on a variety of media channels
- Tracks, analyzes and communicates campaign results to school leadership
- Provides responsive, professional and timely engagement with all constituents
- Participates with other staff to adopt a ‘team’ approach towards executing daily
- Supports events as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications or a similar area.
- Minimum of 2 or more years of experience working in PR, marketing or communications or a related field is desirable.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro are required. Graphic design and web content development skills are also needed.
- Proficiency in creating and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns is needed.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy are required
- Must be able to work collaboratively, often under tight deadlines, with a diverse group of constituents.
- Limited evening and/or weekend work is required. All activities are scheduled in advance.
