Does ND provide Transportation?
Private bus transportation is available to Notre Dame from Bridgeport (Black Rock, Fairfield Avenue, Boston Avenue, East Side), Oxford, Milford, Stratford, Monroe, Norwalk, Trumbull, Seymour, Shelton, Ansonia, Derby, Westport and other area towns. Routes and schedules are determined by the transportation needs of our students. The town of Fairfield provides busing to Fairfield students.
The cost of transportation is $999.00 per year (one way or roundtrip).

What is the average class size?
The average class size at ND is 24 with a student / teacher ratio of 16-1. The total student enrollment is approximately 500, and the daily average attendance is 97%.
Is Financial Aid available?
Applications for Grant-in-Aid are available at Notre Dame. Applications can be completed after your 2009 tax returns have been filed. A fee of $21.00 must accompany the application. Contact the Admissions Office for further information at 203-372-6521. Families must re-apply for aid annually.
Where is Notre Dame located?
The school is ideally located on a beautiful suburban campus off the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield, CT, at the junction of Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton and Trumbull. Exit 47 on the Merritt Parkway is only two blocks from ND.

Is Notre Dame technologically advanced?
ND continues to keep pace with technological advancements. ND has three networked state-of-the-art computer labs with Internet access through a Novell network. The Library/Media Center has more than 40 networked computers as well. Software available at ND: Microsoft Office, Publisher, C++, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, and Adobe Flash. ND takes great pride in teaching state of the art, advanced software classes. In addition over half of Notre Dame's classrooms have SmartBoard technology.
Can I come and visit Notre Dame?
We encourage all applicants and parent/guardians to visit our lovely campus. Simply call the Admissions Office (203.372.6521) to arrange a campus tour. A student can also arrange for the 'Lancer for a Day' program, where he or she will go through a school day with current a ND student.
How do I apply for admission?
A parent/guardian is asked to complete the application form which you can download here. Applications are also available at Notre Dame and at local schools.
There is an application fee of $50.00. This fee includes testing and reporting of test scores, processing applications, etc.
Seventh and Eighth Grade School Records: Notre Dame will request your current school to send a transcript of grades to the school. A form giving ND permission to request these records is part of the registration form.
How many graduates go on to colleges and universities?
More than 96% of the Class of 2010 are attending colleges and universities. The Class of 2010 totaled more than $12 million dollars in scholarships/grants. A Notre Dame student can also earn college credits while still in high school through the Sacred Heart University/Notre Dame Partnership Program.
How much is tuition at ND?
Tuition for the current 2010-2011 school year is $11,340.00 which includes an activity and book rental fee. This is payable in 12 monthly installments. |
