As you know, the students at Notre Dame are a true reflection of the socioeconomic diversity found throughout southwestern Connecticut. Many of our families find the cost of private education to be challenging, yet they value the programs and unique environment we provide for their children. Even by making extraordinary sacrifices to send their sons and daughters to Notre Dame, many families need additional financial aid to make up the difference.
This year our Annual Appeal will focus on managing the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of educating a Notre Dame student, which is $12,154. These unrestricted gifts will be used for tuition assistance so that families in need will not be turned away. As a Catholic institution, we must remain true to our values and serve those who now face financial hardship. Increasing retention and graduation rates are directly linked to finances. Please help us keep the compassion of Christ alive at Notre Dame.
It is with a hopeful sense of optimism that I ask you to consider making a donation to Notre Dame's Annual Giving Campaign, participation is equally important as the size of your gift. Please support this year’s Annual Appeal and be as generous as possible. If you work for a company that has a matching gift program, send us the forms as this will increase the level of your gift. A contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign is vital to the success of our school and will have a direct impact on the future of Notre Dame. If you have any questions about your gift, please feel free to contact our Director of Advancement, Theresa Marzik, at 203-372-6521.
Thank you in advance for your time and your generous contribution. Most of all, thank you for remembering Notre Dame. It is the participation of each member of our Notre Dame family in this campaign that will allow us to attend to our most critical needs. Best wishes to you and your family.
God Bless,

Fr. Bill Sangiovanni, President
