ND Grads Playing in World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships

The American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association has released the 23-man roster that will compete in the 3rd World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships to be held in April of 2017 in Amherst, NY and two Notre Dame graduates are on the team.

Peter Gintoli has been named as Captain of the team.  He is currently playing minor pro hockey with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League.  He graduated from Salve Regina University in 2016.  


Garrett Gintoli completed two years with the Valley Jr. Warriors of the Eastern Hockey League and will attend the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the Fall.  

This will be Peter's 4th International event and Garrett's 3rd.  They were both part of the 2015 Bronze Medal Deaflympic team
