Entrance Exam Information

Students applying to Notre Dame must complete an application and submit the $50 application fee. Applicants must take the entrance exam on October 31 or November 14. The entrance exam can be taken at any one of the five Diocesan high schools, including Notre Dame. Students can request that their exam results be sent to up to three high schools.

Entrance Exam – Saturday, October 29 – 8:00 am

Make-Up Exam – Saturday, November 19 – 8:00 am

All students applying for admission to Notre Dame must complete a Notre Dame application. To complete an application on-line, click here. To download an application, click here. Notre Dame will send a request directly  to your current school for grades and a recommendation form.

Shadow Dates

Spend a day at Notre Dame and see our school in action … Students will meet with the President, Principal, Chaplain, Athletic Director, find out about our dynamic Campus Ministry program, observe several freshman classes, and participate in some classes taught just for our eighth grade guests. Students will also have lunch during the day.

Notre Dame Distinguished Scholars Program

On the basis of elementary/middle school achievement, teacher recommendations, and a personal interview, a select number of first-year applicants will be invited to pursue their four-year high school education as Notre Dame Distinguished Scholars. This Honors Program is grounded in a challenging and diverse curriculum featuring interdisciplinary inquiry, independent initiative and a commitment to academic excellence.  Studying and learning together in this small group, a community of scholarship and intellectual curiosity will be prepared, on a more advanced level, for future studies and opportunities in higher education.

Notre Dame Academic Support Program

This college preparatory program is designed for motivated students who with additional academic support will experience success in high school. Students attend regular classes and fully participate in all aspects of the high school community. Through careful academic planning, restructured course load using summer terms, and support through an integrated study skills curriculum, students experience academic success. The program provides support throughout four years with the main focus in the first two years. Students in this program should be: highly motivated and take responsibility for their academic success, able to handle a college prep curriculum, have a documented learning difference and able to learn in a regular classroom environment.
