| Mr. Merritt started teaching Spanish II at ND in November 2006. He is a veteran sports official in multiple disciplines and is the timer at most home basketball games. |

| Mr. Merritt graduated from Fairfield University with an A.B. in Classics, an M.A. in Multilingual/Multicultural Education, and a C.A.S. (6th year) in Education. He has also traveled extensively and studied in Spain and in Puerto Rico. |
