Despite settling for a lone tie on the season, the N.D. boys' soccer program has reason for hope in the future. Recognized by other league teams for their outstanding sportsmanship, constant improvement was noted by opposing coaches as the year progressed. It often takes a new coach several years to build a successful program and coach Whitey Budrekas definitely has the N.D. squad heading in the right direction. The Lancers ended their season, after traveling to West Hartford, taking on the University High School of Science and Engineering, and played to a one-one tie. Giovany Anestale (Second Team - All SWC), Blaise Jackson (Honorable Mention) and Lee Seak (Honorable Mention) each received recognition from the SWC for their frequent on-the-field contributions. The Lancers are already looking ahead to 2008 to continue their steady course forward in the hopes of posting several victories and learning from the lessons of the '07 season.
