ND HOCKEY
Kerri Rowland, Head Coach, Girls

Now an established varsity program, the N.D. girls' hockey team looked to continue building upon a very successful '06-'07 season when they earned their first post-season berth. With most of their talent still on the ice (one starter was lost when she transferred to another school), the Lancers and Coach Kerri Rowland anticipated a successful season. The season, though, got off to a tough start for the Lancers, as they dropped their first four games, losing to New Canaan, Trumbull, Hamden and Darien. Notre Dame posted their first victory of the season in a 4-0 win over Fairfield. As the season went on, the Lancers posted their share of wins and losses and ended their season with a final record of 7-13. The Lancers were led on the ice by senior Katelyn Crowley and juniors Lorenda Alward, Briana Dellamura,  and Emilie Capaldo. Senior goaltender Jenn Schell provided consistency in goal for N.D. all season long. The Lancers will look ahead to the '08-'09 campaign in hopes of returning to post-season competition.
