Whether it be a pep rally or basketball game, the Notre Dame Drill Team consistently amazed spectators with their talent, stepping skills and rhythm. According to coach Miss Alberti, nineteen students tried out for the 2007-08 squad, with thirteen making the cut. Senior leaders on the team were Captain Corey Parker, co-captains Erin Franklin and Deja Mack, as well as Amy Vu and Dana Garvey. A complement of underclassmen rounded out the team. The Drill Team performed at each home boys' varsity basketball game and the girls' varsity game versus Kolbe, as they cheered on Candace Williams as she scored her 1,000th career point. The N.D. Drill Team, a staple of the winter sports season, will continue to spend hours rehearsing to perform their outstanding three to five minute routine, much to the joy of fans and players alike.
