The application process for admission into the ninth grade begins during the fall of the student's eighth grade year.
A parent/guardian must complete an application, which can be found on the N.D. web site, in N.D.'s promotional materials or by contacting the school, to begin the admissions process. A $50 application fee must accompany the completed application which should be sent to:
Notre Dame High School

Prospective students are encouraged to spend the day at Notre Dame as part of our shadow program: Experience Notre Dame Fairfield. Contact the Admissions Office to arrange this visit.
Eighth grade applicants must take an entrance exam to be considered for admission.
On the application, an academic release waiver must be signed. A copy of this form will be sent to the applicant's current school, along with a recommendation form. N.D. requests complete seventh and first marking period eighth grade report cards.
Some applicants are also invited for an interview as part of the admissions process. N.D. directly contacts these students.
Acceptance letters are mailed on December 15 to those accepted students whose application files were complete as of December 1.
A $1,000 deposit is required to secure a spot in the freshman class and should be returned by the February 1 deadline.
