Attention Reunion Planners!

If you are setting up a date for a class reunion, please email me here.
It is truly a special time when classmates can gather together again to catch up on the years gone by and reminisce of the times they walked the halls of Notre Dame High School. Here in the ND Alumni Office we treasure and encourage classes to celebrate these milestone reunions. If your class is thinking about having a reunion, please contact the Alumni Office as soon as possible to let us help you with the process. The Alumni Office can help with class lists, website notifications, and general helpful hints and tips. Please contact Theresa Marzik, Director of Advancement/Alumni, at (203) 372-6521 or tmarzik@notredame.org. Thank you for continuing to keep the Notre Dame tradition alive!

How does Notre Dame Help with reunions?

There are quite a number of ways in which our office can help you along the way of planning your reunion. We are here to answer any questions, provide helpful hints, and to generally be a sounding board for the reunion committee. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions, we'll be happy to answer them to the best of our ability.

Class Lists- We will provide the reunion chair with a list of your classmates and their contact information. Please keep in mind that the information is only as updated as alumni allow it to be. Please encourage your classmates to contact us with their updated information by filling out an Alumni Update Form. Notre Dame does not provide alumni contact information to anyone but reunion committee chairs. Once your reunion is over we encourage reunion committees to forward their updated list to the Alumni Office.

Website - Notre Dame will post information about your reunion on the Notre Dame website
(www.notredame.org) and on the official ND Facebook (Notre Dame High School Fairfield, Connecticut) page. Reunion committees will need to provide us with the information they would like posted.

Impact - If the timing is right, we are happy to post announcements about upcoming reunions in the Impact (based on what information we have when going to print). We love to receive write-ups from the reunion committees to include in the magazine after your event.

Memorabilia - Our archive room has memorabilia from many classes. Contact the Alumni Office to see if we have something you can use at the reunion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who plans a class reunion?
Anyone can plan a class reunion. Typically it is the responsibility of the class officers from your senior year to plan the class reunion. Often, after the 10 year reunion, other members of the class may volunteer to run subsequent reunions.

Can we take a tour of Notre Dame or conduct a mass?
Tours and/or a Class Mass are possibilities for your reunion weekend. Contact the Alumni Office and we can discuss these possibilities with you.

When do you have a reunion?
Typically the first class reunion falls 10 years after your graduation. From there classes choose to celebrate in additional 10 or 5 year increments. It's really up to you and your classmates' preferences. Some classmates even gather yearly or monthly for low-key get-togethers.

Do I have a reunion coming up?
Check our website for postings on upcoming reunions. Also, make sure that you update your contact information with Notre Dame whenever you have a change of mailing or email address. Our class lists are only as updated as you allow them to be. You may make updates by filling out an Alumni Update Form.

How far in advance should we start planning our reunion?
Really it's as far in advance as possible. We suggest at least 6 months to a year. This will allow time for your class to form a reunion committee, find any "lost" alumni, reach out to classmates to determine dates, times and locations, book a location and arrange any entertainment/food/activities, and allow time for classmates to make travel arrangements.

Make a donation in honor of your class to Notre Dame. Consider having a raffle or collection to make a donation from your class to Notre Dame. What a better way to celebrate you class reunion then by giving back to Notre Dame. We count on our alumni to help the future of Notre Dame.

Keep your information updated! If you are a Notre Dame graduate or a parent of an ND grad who has not been receiving mail from the school or have recently moved, please fill out an alumni update form. It is very important to keep our alumni database updated and accurate. We want you to know about the good things continually happening at Notre Dame, and we want to hear news about you. We especially need to keep your email information updated. Emails are a great way for us to keep you informed.

Volunteers
- are a crucial component of the Notre Dame Catholic High School community and there is no better ambassador for ND than one of our alumni/ae. There are a variety of ways to volunteer your time at Notre Dame so we encourage you to GET INVOLVED!
