There are currently 18 junior/senior members of the the Spanish Honor Society. Criteria for membership is a cumulative grade of 90 for at least two years of studying the language. The Spanish Honor Society offers many activities and services throughout the school year.
Highlight Activities:Tutorial program with bi-lingual (Spanish-English) students of Elias How Elementary school. Notre Dame students tutor grades K-5, in Spanish, dealing with CORE subjects, such as reading and arithmetic. ND students have the opportunity to speak Spanish with the children, and the children learn and improve on the basic skills. All tutoring is done in Spanish.

SHS also promotes school sponsored events such as the Walk-a-thon, a kindergarten Halloween party and Annual Winter Clothing Drive for the children of Garfield Elementary School, Bpt.
