ND COMMUNITY SERVICE

One of the cornerstones of a Notre Dame education is a commitment to the community around us. Each student, as part of the religion curriculum, is required to complete a minimum of ten hours of community service each year. Yet, the majority of N.D. students go above and beyond this requirement. Whether students are volunteering a week of their summer to help the needy in Kentucky, collecting canned goods for the less fortunate in our area, or dancing with seniors at the Jewish Home for the Elderly, the giving nature of N.D. students is so apparent. Service to the community is a tradition students take with them even after graduating - a fact the school is very proud of!
