“NDGEAA” – Notre Dame Global Education, Awareness, & Action meets monthly to educate ourselves and the ND community about issues of justice and human rights. We are interested in issues such as the following: persons unjustly imprisoned (because of their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or political beliefs); torture; child soldiers; human trafficking; and the unjust use of power by governments and businesses. As we become informed, we take action to help build a better world. Examples of action may include letter writing to government officials in the U.S. and abroad, petition signing, sponsoring of educational films at ND, inviting knowledgeable guest speakers to speak at ND, and prayer vigils.
If you are interested in NDGEAA, or if you have questions, email the faculty moderator, Mr. Kiernan at kiernan@notredame.org
